Ticket raffle in aid of Cure Parkinson’s: Terms and Conditions
General rules
The raffle is promoted by Cure Parkinson’s (the Promoter) which is the operating name of The Cure Parkinson’s Trust, 120 New Cavendish Street, London W1W 6XX. The Cure Parkinson’s Trust is a registered charity in England and Wales (1111816) and Scotland (SCO44368) and a company limited by guarantee - company number 05539974 (England and Wales). The Promoter is licensed and Regulated in Great Britain by the Westminster Council. The responsible person is Andy Simons who can be contacted at the above address.
Thank you for supporting Cure Parkinson’s. These terms and conditions refer to online entry to our raffle.
The purchase price of one ticket entry into the Cure Parkinson’s raffle for 2 x Tickets for Taylor Swift at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 15 August 2024 is £10. You may purchase more than one ticket but the maximum number of tickets you may purchase is five tickets for the draw. Payment to enter the raffle must be made in advance of the draw date. Any payment received after the draw date or above the maximum number of tickets will be treated as a donation.
No tickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 years. The Promoter reserves the right to carry out age verification checks.
If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 he/she will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit his/her prize and the purchase price will be returned.
Please note:
- No under 5s are permitted at the venue.
- All under 14s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
The Cure Parkinson’s raffle is open to all Great Britain residents aged 16 years and over, except employees of Cure Parkinson’s who are directly involved with the raffle, their agencies and other companies directly involved in the running of the raffle. This means that entries will not be accepted from the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and BFPOs, according to the Gambling Act 2005.
Entry to the raffle will close at 10am on Monday 12 August 2024. Winners will be notified by 5pm on the same day.
To purchase raffle tickets online entrants must be residents of Great Britain (only) and 16 years of age or over. This means that online entries will not be accepted from Northern Ireland.
Monies raised by this raffle will support the activities of the direct services of the Cure Parkinson’s Trust, a registered charity in England and Wales (1111816) and Scotland (SCO44368)
Participation in this raffle can be made by purchasing tickets through https://cureparkinsonsshop.com/ where entrants will be notified by email of their ticket numbers.
Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw only when the whole payment is received.
Accepted payments for raffle tickets are those which are accepted by Shopify – Credit Card, Debit Card, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay and G Pay.
The Promoter cannot accept CAF payments for raffle entries and all CAF payments will be treated as donations.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible or from which the prize winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
Any ticket entries received after the closing date may miss entry into the draw and therefore will be considered as a donation to Cure Parkinson’s.
An independent randomised draw system is used to select raffle prize winners.
Prizes are allocated as follows: 2 x tickets to attend Taylor Swift at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 15 August 2024. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
For the avoidance of doubt, unless specified elsewhere in these terms and conditions or otherwise agreed in writing, the winner is responsible for all arrangements and costs required to access the prize including but not limited to, travel, accommodation and food and beverage costs, and no other costs or expenses will be covered by the Promoter.
The prize is subject to change. Descriptions of the prize are provided without a warranty or representation of any kind. In no event shall the Promoter be liable for any claim demand or damages caused to an entrant by reason of a description of the prize being inaccurate, incomplete, or for the prize being otherwise in any way different to the entrant’s expectations. Where the prize includes tickets or entry to an event, the Promoter will not be responsible for any failure of the winner and/or guests (if applicable) to gain entry or re-entry to the event due to their behaviour or failing to meet the admission requirements. The Promoter will not be responsible for suspension or cancellation of events that may form part of the prize, including as a result of governmental restrictions. In such cases, only the tangible part (if any) of the prize will be fulfilled. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries that breach these rules or are in any way fraudulent. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the prize draw at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside its control.
The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any raffle entry not being properly received.
Please keep the ticket or allocated number as proof of purchase.
Where the Promoter is unable to contact a prize winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for 48 hours following the Promoter's first attempt to notify the prize winner, the Promoter may apply the prize as it sees fit.
All winners are required to co-operate with the Promoter’s right to publish their win as and where deemed appropriate, and to provide proof of age when requested.
In the event of an error, howsoever caused, and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the competition in any way, the Promoter reserves the right to administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred. Where the Promoter deems it appropriate and/or feasible it will notify entrants of the error.
Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.
Refunds for payment of raffle tickets will be given under the following circumstances:
1) a person under the age of 16 took part in the raffle, including after the draw took place.
2) a duplicate payment was taken due to a Cure Parkinson’s technical connection failure, where the refund hasn't already been processed by bank transfer.
The Cure Parkinson’s raffle is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
